Potentially Serious Incidents

This session discesuss the value of PSIs, how they are different from other incidents, connections to other initiatives like Life Saving Rules and the future of serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention. Included within this session will be a review of the Alberta OHS Oil and Gas data recently shared with Energy Safety Canada.

The session is delivered by Mr. Robert Waterhouse, a senior staff advisor in the Industry Development department at Energy Safety Canada, the safety association for Canada's oil and gas industry. Robert Waterhouse worked with Industry and the Alberta Government in the development of Energy Safety Canada's PSI Guideline.
