COR/SECOR Fees

First, determine if your company is a member of Energy Safety Canada.  Energy Safety Canada’s COR/SECOR services are partially funded by oil and gas employers through their WCB premiums.  For the purposes of COR/SECOR Annual Fees, the Industry Codes/Classification Units on the Determine Member Status are considered members.

If your Industry Code/Classification Unit is not on this list you are considered a Non-Member.  Energy Safety Canada welcomes both Members and Non-Members.  Please note if you fall into the Non-Member category you cannot apply to become a member.

Once you have determine your member status refer to the COR/SECOR Fee for the cost of an audit review.

ANNUAL MEMBER FEE*

Audit Type Annual Fee
SECOR (1-10 employees) $150
COR (11+ employees) $250
Action Plan $250

ANNUAL non-MEMBER FEE*

Audit Type Annual Fee
SECOR (1-10 employees) $600
COR (11+ employees) $1,200

COR Equivalency ISO/CSA $600

Notes:

  • Energy Safety Canada reserves the right to change its fee structure without prior notice
  • No refunds or credits will be extended
  • Fees are based on the calendar year and will not be carried forward to the next calendar year if the employer fails to complete an audit
  • Annual fees include one Quality Assurance (QA) Review fee per company

The overall cost of a COR audit depends on a number of factors. Ultimately, the fees for the auditing services themselves are negotiated between an Employer and the independent Energy Safety Canada-certified auditor they wish to contract.
