The Alberta Motor Transport Association and Energy Safety Canada present on the dangers of fatigue and distracted driving. It is estimated that fatigue and fatigue-related incidents in the United States result in $6 billion in health costs and $55 billion in lost productivity each year, Incidents involving large trucks over 4,500 kg cost around $30 billion each year.
