Competency | AB Bill 30 Bulletin | Issue 21-2018

Alberta Bill 30 Act introduces competency obligations for supervisors, service providers, and employers.
Work Site Parties are to be compliant with the new Alberta OHS Act.

Work Site Parties include 10 named key stakeholders: employers, supervisors, workers, contractors, owners, prime contractors, suppliers, service providers, self-employed persons and temporary staffing agencies. These key stakeholder are responsible for health and safety in the workplace. 

Energy Safety Canada released a series of safety bulletins intended to assist the oil and gas industry with understanding the changes.
