Self-Employed Persons | AB Bill 30 Bulletin | Issue 14-2018

Self-employed persons are to be compliant with the Alberta OHS Act.
Work Site Parties are to be compliant with the new Alberta OHS Act.

Work Site Parties include 10 named key stakeholders: employers, supervisors, workers, contractors, owners, prime contractors, suppliers, service providers, self-employed persons and temporary staffing agencies. These key stakeholder are responsible for health and safety in the workplace. 

Energy Safety Canada released a series of safety bulletins intended to assist the oil and gas industry with understanding the changes.
