Fall related injuries can affect workers of all ages and experience. Pre-existing injuries and health challenges can increase the severity of the fall injury resulting in higher costs. An efficient workplace can reduce the risk of a fall injury by using adequate lighting, guardrails and handles, clear footpaths, and minimizing travel over hazardous paths.
