Well Service Blowout Prevention Blended Online
Participants will learn how to recognize kick use warning signs and safely shut-in a well. Blowout prevention equipment, well control procedures and rig crew responsibilities during well killing operations are also covered.
This course is delivered in a blended format consisting of an online component and a classroom component (virtual or in person).
- Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive certificate that is valid for five years, virtual course certificates are self-print
- Passing grade on exam 70%
- Course includes 3 online modules that must be completed within 90-days from initial registration date
- Classroom session (in-person or virtual) must be completed within 30 days after online portion
- Final exam (online) must be attempted within 72 hours after classroom portion
- Two exam attempts allowed per registration. If unsuccessful after both attempts, full re-registration required. Fees apply
- If components are not completed within the stated time frames, re-registration will be required. Registration fees will not be reimbursed see
