Process Safety Awareness

The Process Safety Awareness course introduces participants to key process safety concepts and their role in supporting a strong process safety culture.

This course has been created with support from the University of Toronto and provides a foundational understanding of why process safety matters.

Topics Covered

• How process safety protects us, the environment and our companies
• Process safety management and culture
• How process safety events occur
• Process safety events and hazards
• Process safety event prevention

• Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate that does not expire will be available to print
• Passing grade on exam 70%
• Participants are given five attempts at the final exam. It is strongly recommended to review all course material between attempts. If all attempts are unsuccessful, re-registration into the course is required. Fees will apply
• Students have access to the course for 90 days from initial registration. If not completed within that time, registration fees will not be reimbursed see Cancelation Policy
