Process Safety Awareness
The Process Safety Awareness course provides individuals with an introduction to process safety concepts and an overview of the responsibilities for maintaining a positive process safety culture.
Designed For
This course is designed to be an awareness-level course to process safety and has been updated with support from the University of Toronto.
Upon Completion
Upon successful completion of this course and achieving a minimum score of 70% on the examination, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion that does not expire and will be available to print.
Topics Covered
Individuals will learn:- How process safety protects us, the environment and our companies
- How process safety events occur
- Examples of common process safety events and how to prevent them
Notes
- Course Duration: 30 minutes
- The course can be accessed anytime through your online account for 90 days from initial registration
- Energy Safety Canada offices are available to support during regular business hours
Equipment Requirements for Online Class
- A currently supported version of your operating System for Windows or Apple
- Stable internet connection with a supported web browser
- Web Camera
- Speakers / Microphone (headset recommended)
- Printer to print the certificate after successfully completing the course
- A government-issued, picture ID is required to complete the final exam and obtain certification
