Oilfield Driver Awareness (ODA)
Motor vehicle collisions are the most common cause of fatalities in the oil and gas industry. Human error is the most significant factor contributing to vehicle crashes.
This course is designed to provide the participant with the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a safe driver when operating a motor vehicle. Participants will learn tactics to improve their driving behavior and better understand the factors influencing driver attitudes.
This course is approved by the Government of Alberta as a Defensive Driving Course (DDC) and meets the training requirements for the Oilwell Service Vehicle Cycle Exemption Permit.

- Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate that is valid for three years, virtual course certificates are self-print
- Passing grade on exam 80%
- Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp and may continue beyond 4:30 p.m. MT
