Wildlife Awareness (includes Bear Awareness)


Please note: required training for access to Suncor site and facilities is  Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness  


The Wildlife Awareness Online (includes Bear Awareness) course provides novice, intermediate and supervisory level workers with the basic knowledge to work safely in remote areas and wilderness habitats while promoting the safe co-existence with wildlife.

Upon Completion

Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate of completion that does not expire will be available to print.

Equipment

For the online course you will need:
  • Stable internet connection with a supported web browser
  • Web Camera
  • Speakers / Microphone (headset recommended) 
  • Printer to print the certificate after successfully completing the course

  • The course can be accessed at anytime through your online account, for 90 days from initial registration. Our Energy Safety Canada offices are available to support during regular business hours
