URGENT REQUEST | 2022 Audit Submission Deadline

Request to shorten report writing timeline
The current timeframe to complete report writing is 21 days from the last day on site. As we prepare to launch the update to the 2023 audit tool we are asking auditors to, if possible, shorten the report writing timeline to only 10 days for report writing.

The reason for this is the current tool will be replaced with the new 2023 version at the end of January. Energy Safety Canada will require all 2022 audits to be submitted, reviewed and revisions made, if necessary, by the end of January.

To assist our audit reviewers in the review process please submit your audit as quickly as possible and, if possible, only take 10 days to write your reports instead of the full 21 days.

If revisions are required, we would also ask for your help in resubmitting any revisions needed within 3 days.
